Saturday at the Start Baptist Church with Rev. M.J. Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mr. Adams was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lena F. Adams of Start; two daughters, Miss Erma L. Adams of Shiprock, N.M., and Mrs. Agnes Bradshaw of Rayville; two sons, W.O. Adams of Archibald, and R.L. Adams of Teecnospos, Arizona; one sister, Mrs. Alvin Wilson of Transylvania; and two brothers, Troy Adams of Start, and J.M. Adams of Mangham. Pallbearers were Bill Booth, Jim Hill, Jackson Bennett, T.O. Parker and Clyde Cartlidge.
