George Ferrington, Rev. Gene R. Brown, Rev. Robbie Robison officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home Rayville. Van "Pete" Williams was born in Middlefork, LA, on February 16, 1926 and passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2005 in Monroe, LA, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Van Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Pete Williams and Minnie Lee, Davidson Williams; two sons, Ronald Wayne Williams and Van Thomas Williams. Devoted family left behind his wife of fifty-eight and half years, Vera Lee Martin Williams of Rayville, LA; children, John David Williams and wife, Cathy, Sherron Ann Williams; grandchildren: Cindy, Vanessa, Callie, John Thomas, Amy, Ronnie, J. D., Joshua, and Kristie; great grandchildren: Chase, Jeremy, Dakota, Zack, Corey, Jade, Garrett, and Little Van. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Williams, Wally Robison, Steve Williams, Bud Acker, Bennit Guilbeaux, Ronnie Gilbert, Johnny Martin, and his three grandsons, John Thomas Eubanks, J. D. Williams, and Joshua Williams. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
