 W.D. Thurman

Funeral services for W.D. dude Thurman, 94, of Rayville, were held
Wednesday, July 21,2004 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville
with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating.

Burial followed in Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of
Brown-Holley funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Thurman was born on August 18, 1909 and passed away om Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville.

Mr. Thurman was a member of the Boeuf River Baptist Church, Rayville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Brown Thurman, brothers,
Bill Thurman, and Clifton Joe Thurman; sister Myrtle Nance.

Mr. Thurman is survived by his daughter, Jo Ann Greer and husband,
Sammie of Rayville, LA.; grandsons, Randall Greer and wife Amy of
Covington, LA. and Gerald Greer of Rayville; great granddaughter,
Leanna Greer of Covington, LA; sister Dezzie Chapman of Mt. Pleasant,
LA.

Pallbearers were Joe Meeks, James Johnston, James Brown, Ray Adcock,
Friday Ellis and Randall Greer.
