All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** WILLIE MAE (RED) NOBLES Services for Mrs. Willie Mae "Red" Nobles, 60, of Start, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 1989 at the Start Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Woodard and Rev. Shelton Morgan officiating. Burial followed in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville. Mrs. Nobles died Feb. 25, 1989 at the Richland Parish Hospital in Rayville following a brief illness. She was a resident of Richland Parish since 1948, a homemaker and a Member of Start Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Nobles; her Father, Willie Russell; a brother, Morris Russell; and a granddaughter Laverne Juandine Parker. Survivors include her mother: Mrs. Gertrude Davis Russell, Girard; two brothers: George Russell of Start and Douglas Russell of West Monroe; one sister: Mrs. Helen Blake of Girard; three step-sons: Willie Ray Nobles, Billy Nobles and Russell Nobles, all of Start; one step- daughter: Mrs. Nobie Blackmon of Rayville; five grandchildren, nine great granchildren and two great great granchildren. Pallbearers were Donald Ray Russell, Mike Nobles, Steve Crawford, Eric Silk, Willie Nobles Jr. and Howard Conley.
