 Willie Noble

START - Services for Willie Noble, 78, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at
Start Baptist Church with the Revs. Ray Walter and Willie Woodard
officiating.

Burial will be in the Start cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Noble died Tuesday night at Our Lady of the Lord Hospital in 
Lafayette following a short illness.

He was a farmer, a native of Mangham and resident of Start for the past
47 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae "Red" Noble of Start; three
Sons, Willie R. Noble, Billy Noble and Russell Noble, all of Start; one
Daughter, Mrs. Nobie Red of Hudson, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Mittie
Valentine of Winnsboro; and 10 grandchildren.


Submitter's Notes: James William "Willie" Noble, the son of James 
Runnells Nobles and Dorcas Elizabeth Crawford Nobles, was born November
19, 1904 near Brandon, Rankin County, MS, and died September 27, 1983,
in Lafayette, LA.
