Interment followed in Gwin Cemetery in Mangham under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. Winifred Brown was born on June 11, 1917 in Mangham, LA and passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in West Monroe. Winn Brown lived a full life and brought smiles to all she met. She had an active sense of humor and enjoyed talking with her friends and family. She loved her family, friends and loved God and trusted Him completely. She was a talented florist and gave much joy to all. She was a loving wife and mother. We rejoice in her life and know we will see her again. Winn was a member of Living Church of God in Monroe and former owner of Brown’s Florist in Rayville. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Brown, Sr.; sister, Wilma Young and her parents, Bill and Gladys Heath. Survivors include her son, H.L. Brown, Jr. and wife, Mary Joyce of West Monroe; brother, William T. “Sonny” Heath of Rayville; grandchildren, Brandee Miller and husband, Derek of Visalia, CA, Brandon Brown and wife, Julie of West Monroe and Shanna Scarborough and husband, David of Odessa, MO; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Logan Smith, Brain Smith, Dewey Smith, Joe Heath, Tom Heath, and Brandon Brown. Honorary Pallbearers were David Brown, Roy Ray Heath, John Heath, Jimmy Heath and Jarod Brown.
