All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Yorkie Burns Cartlidge Funeral services for Yorkie Burns Cartlidge, 82 of Start, LA., were held at 10 a.m. on August 17, 2001, at the Start Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Smart officiating. Burial followed in the Start Cemetery, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. Mrs. Cartlidge died August 15, 2001, at the Richardson Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Start Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Clyde Cartlidge of Start, La.; her daughter, Sue Trisler and her husband, Walt; three grandchildren, Tara Maddox and her husband, Rob, Patrick Trisler and his wife, Shannon, and Amy Trisler and her fiancé Aaron Booth; great grandchildren, Shelby, Rachael, Jackson and Gareth Maddox and Wrenn Trisler; two sisters, Winnie Moreland and Beatrice Richardson; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Athlone Walker; and caregivers Texia Clark and Frances Cook. Serving as pallbearers were Ken Lindsay, Charles Turnage, Bobby Chambliss, Otto Parker, Patrick Trisler and Hugh Moreland. Honorary pallbearers were Rob Maddox and Aaron Booth.
