Williams MANGHAM - Funeral services for Mrs. Zula Crawford Williams, 79, of Mangham were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 12, 1990, in the Lone Cherry Baptist Church with the Rev. Will Young and the Rev. Robert Williamson officiating. Burial followed in the Lone Cherry Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville. Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, January 10, 1990, in the Richland Parish Hospital, Rayville, following a long illness. A native of Carthage, Miss., Mrs. Williams was born June 29, 1910. She was a homemaker, member of the Lone Cherry Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Williams. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Lee of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Cookie Wheeler, Onalaska, Tex.; three sons, Dr. Oliver Williams of Houston, Tex., Bennie Williams and Onnie Williams, both of Mangham; three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Sharbono of Rayville, Mrs. Maudie Whittington, Hurley, Miss., and Mrs. Ova Hannah of Canton, Miss., nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joel Williams, Gary Williams, Ben Williams, Dean Williams, Troy Williams, Jay Wheeler, Don Frymark and Joe Booth. Submitter's notes: Zula Crawford Williams was the daughter of Samuel Alford Crawford and his first wife Ollie (Jordan) Crawford. She married Joseph Lee Williams March 31, 1928 in Richland Parish, LA.
