Love is the formation of all that is good and pure. Sunday afternoon at the Baptist parsonage Mr. R. L. Jowers and Miss Suevilla Etier were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, the ceremony being performed by Rev. W. A. Lusk in a most impressive manner. The bride was dressed in a brown coat suite, and never looked more lovely than she did on this joyous occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Jowers are both too well known in Rayville to need any introduction from us or eulogy at our hands. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. L. E. Etier of Girard, and is universally loved and admired, for her sweet character and charming disposition. The groom is connected with W. T. Henry & Co., and stands well in business circles. Immediately after the ceremony the happy young couple left on the east bound train for Mobile, Ala. Where they will spend their honeymoon at the home of the groom's parents. After their return they will be at home to their friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wright on South Julia Street. We join their many friends in congratulations and best wishes as they embark on life's rugged voyage together.
