To any Ordained Minister of the Gospel, or to any Justice of the Peace ~ 
Greeting:
You are hereby authorized and empowered to unite in the Bonds of Matrimony
and Holy Wedlock, Mr. William Young and
Miss Lizzie Smith both residents of the State
aforesaid, and to solemnize and celebrate the said Marriage between said 
Parties, according to the laws
and customs of this State, and make your return hereof, as the law directs, 
and this is your authority
for so doing.
		Given under my hand and Seal of Office, on this 18th 
			day of December 1899

State of Louisiana ~ Parish of Richland.
	I hereby Certify, That I have, on this day in pursuance of the 
foregoing License, celebrated
and solemnized a marriage between Mr. William Young
and Miss Lizzie Smith agreeably to the laws and customs
of the State of Louisiana.
	In faith whereof, I have together with the parties, and in the 
presence of the undersigned
witnesses, signed these presents on this 20th day of December 1899.

Know all Men by these Presents:
	That We William Young as principal
and R C Holly as Security, are held and firmly
bound unto Jno S Summerlin Clerk of the 6th District Court, in and for the
Parish of Richland, State of Louisiana, and his successors in office, for the 
time being, in the sum of
Five Hundred Dollars, and for the true and final payment thereof, we bind 
ourselves, our heirs,
administrators and assigns.
	Signed and dated on this 18th day of December 1899
	The Condition of the above Obligation is such that whereas, a Marriage 
is about to take
place between the above bound William Young and
Miss Lizzie Smith and if there shall exist no legal
impediments why the marriage should not take place, then the above obligation 
to be void, else to
remain in full force and virtue, according to law.

of her parents as she was born between census years!!

William Lynam b Apr 1835 Ireland is on the 1900 Richland Parish, LA census 
with wife Bettie, and children Mary & Thomas.
