Cemeteries: Knippers Cemetery, Sabine Parish Source: Pat Berel, Feb 24, 2000 Submitted by: Pat Berel berel@wnonline.net ************************************************ Copyright. Brumley, the ex-sheriff, told me about it. It is located a far ways in the woods off the main road and is very grown up in weeds. He said when he was sheriff, Cecil Eason came to him and ask if he could fence it. I think maybe it is on hunting club land as there was a posted sign going to it. He okayed the fencing and had the prisoners at that time to help clean it up for it to be fenced. It is off the road that goes to the Muse Cemetery if you are familiar with the country below Lewingtown. I made a listing of all the headstones I could find and they are listed below.
