Minutes of Sabine Parish Courthouse 1843-1877  Court Docket #66  September 
1877   The Grand Jury came into court and through their foreman presented the 
following Bills of Indictment to Wit:   The State  vs  Porter Brown   In this 
case it is moved that the indictment be filed that a Bench Warrent do issue 
instruction.   Change of Venue and motion to transfer withdrawn the accused to 
another jail filed and granted and prisoner removed to Natchitoches Jail.
