Mrs. Oree Averitte

  Mrs. Oree Averitte, 65, died in her home on Friday, July 29, at
11:45 p.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include two sons, James Nichols, and Bobby Nichols,
both of Carthage, Tex.; five daughters, Mildred Kendrick of
Pleasant Hill, Maggie Byles of Belmont, Martha Ann Jackson of
Alaska, Myra Wilkerson of Shreveport, and Mona Robertson of
Alexandria; two brothers, Fisher Isgitt of Coldwater, and Ernest
Isgitt of Anacoco; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lee Clark of
Robeline, and Mrs. Ruth Presson of Shreveport; 27 grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Springridge Baptist church on
Monday, August 1, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J. P. King
officiating. Burial was in the Springridge Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
