Mrs. Amos Austin

  Funeral services for Mrs. Amos Austin, 65, a former resident
of Sabine Parish, will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m.,
at the Barron Road Baptist Church in Shreveport, with the Rev.
Jimmy Lilly officiating.

  Interment will be in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, at 1 p.m., under
the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Shreveport.

  Survivors were her husband, Amos Austin of Keithville; 3
children; Amos Austin, Joy Mae Reed, and Ruby Nell, all of
Shreveport. Two sisters; Mrs. Wilson Flenniken, Ft. Jesup,
and Mrs. Ira Williams of Pensacoila, Fla.; five brothers, the
Rev. Johnnie Rhodes of Many, Chester Rhodes of Haughton, Elmer
Rhodes of Many, Horace Rhodes of Sibley, and Roy Rhodes of
Shreveport.
