Mrs. W. M. Ashton

  Mrs. Willie Mae Ashton, 63, of Hornbeck, died Friday, March 8.

  funeral services were held at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 9, in the
Good Hope Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby McCullough
officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery, under the
direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Survivors include her mother, Mrs., Brean Alford Hale of
Hornbeck; seven brothers, Johnnie Hale, Melvin L. Hale, and
Douglas Hale, all of Hornbeck, Walter Hale of Deer Park, Tex.,
Tommie Hale, and Haskel Hale, both of Houston, Tex., and Malcolm
Hale of Shreveport; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys McConathy of
Anacoco, Mrs. Eunice Hill of Houston, Tex., Mrs Maudie Olla Erwin
of Anacoco, Mrs. Luella Pevoteaux of Houston, Tex., and Mrs.
Geraldine Prewitt of Hornbeck.
