Thomas Huey Austin

  Thomas Huey Austin, 43, of West Monroe, died Tuesday, March 6,
after a brief illness, at the St. Francis Hospital in Monroe.

  The services were held Friday, March 9, at 4 p.m., in the Union
Baptist Church of Belmont, with the Rev. Willis Greer, and Rev.
J. P. King officiating. Burial followed in the Belmont Cemetery.

  Survivors included his three sons; Edward D. Austin of the U. S.
Navy, stationed in San Diego, Calif., Thomas W. Austin, and John
F. Austin, both of Goldonna, and his mother, Mrs. Evone Austin of
Belmont.

  Mr. Austin was a veteran of 14 years in the Navy.
