  Marvin Austin - December 20, 1973

  Marvin Austin, 52, of Belmont, died in Many on Wednesday, Dec.
12, at 11:45 p.m. as the result of fire.

  Austin is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lola Austin of Belmont;
four sons, John Douglas Austin if Houston, Roger Austin, Randy
Austin, both of Shreveport, and Mark Austin of Pleasant Hill;
three sisters, Mrs. Carl Skinner of Belmont, Mrs. Cecil Brown of
Mansfield, and Mrs. Chelsea Branson of Sacramento, Calif.; and
two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. at the
Belmont Baptist Church with the Rev. J. P. King officiating.
Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.
