Mrs. Eloise Austin

  Mrs. Eloise Austin, 87, of Converse, died Thursday, July 31, in
Shreveport. She was a homemaker.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 2, at
Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield. Burial followed in
the Converse Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Price, pastor of Noble
Baptist Church, officiated.

  Survivors include one son, Larry Austin of Converse, La.; three
daughters, Pauline McKee, Audrey Leach, and Opal Allen, all of
Shreveport; five sisters, Media Bray of Zwolle, Lois Austin of
Baton Rouge, Truie Gipson of Natchitoches, Leta Cain, and Maude
Lee, both of Rayville; three brothers, Jeff Branch of Rayville,
Hugh Branch of Holly Ridge, and Elliott Branch of Lafayette; 14
grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.

  Pallbearers were the grandsons of Mrs. Eloise Austin.
