Wiley R. (Bill) Ashley

  Funeral services for Wiley R. (Bill) Ashley, 88, of Many, will
be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 1996, at 11 a.m., at St. John's
Catholic Church, with father Kenneth Williams, and Father William
Carney officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery.

  Mr. Ashley passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, at Sabine Medical Center
in Many.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Ashley; one
bother, Clovis Jackson Ashley; and one sister, Lilly Murel
Creech.

  Mr. Ashley is survived by one sister, Murice Sovett of
Opelousas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
