Mrs. Willie Ashley

  Mrs. Willie Ashley, 79, died Monday night, June 17, in
Mansfield.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 19, at 11 a.m., in
the Drewett Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Alfred Mitchell
officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery.

  She is survived by her husband; two sons, Clovis Ashley of Krotz
Springs, Bill Ashley of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Maurice Sobet
of Opelousas, and Mrs. Merle Creech of Logansport; two brothers,
James Webb of Mansfield, and Rubien Litton of Converse; four
sisters, Mrs. Lela Sullivan of Shreveport, Mrs. Lou Kelly of
Mansfield, Mrs. Mike Ward of Mansfield, and Mrs. Clyde Benmon of
Mansfield.
