Interment followed in the St. Johns Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Services began at 10 a.m., with Father Ken Roy officiating. Mr. Aytes passed away Thursday, May 31, at the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Aytes of Many, La.; one son, Casey DeLane Aytes, Many, La.; three brothers, Bill Davis, Stamps, Ark., Ray Aytes, Durant, Okla., Wallace Potter, Frankfort, Germany; five sisters, Judy Mae LeMay, Stamps, Ark., Joan Harville, and Phyllis Womack, Logansport, La., Wanda Crank, Louisville, Ark., Lois Aimsworth, Shreveport, La., and a host of nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers were Frankie Howard, Alvin Womack, Garland Peterson, Gene Hefner, Bill O'Bannon, Pete Porter, Gary Morgan, and Billy Slaughter. Pallbearers were Ronnie Bison, Gary Curtis, Johnny Moward, L. C. Duncan, Mike Strickland, Ronald Burr, Wendell Sigler, and Wesley Fredieu.
