All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Jack Berry Adcock Services for Jack Berry Adcock, 69, of Shreveport, were at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 24, at the Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, Dr. Dan Tobline, pastor of Mangum Memorial Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Monroe Memorial Park, Monroe, La. He died Saturday, Nov. 22, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Adcock was born in Monticello, Ark., and was a resident of Shreveport for most of his life. He was a retired employee of Railway Express. He was a member of the Shreveport American Legion Post No. 14, The Queensborough Masonic Lodge No. 418, and the El Karubah Shrine. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace C. Adcock, Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. Annie Adcock, Monroe; three stepsons, Gene Bison, Many, Charles Bison, Shreveport, and Jackie Bison, Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. C. R. Ross, Monroe; two brothers, Berry Adcock, Longview, Tx., and Harvey Adcock, Waco, Tx.; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kirby Wilson, George Griffin, R. H. Kennedy, Roy Harlow, Ernest Scott, and Ally Hope.
