The Sabine Index - William Addison

  20 Jul 1956 - Funeral services for William Addison, 83, who
passed away at a Shreveport hospital, Wednesday, July 11, was
conducted at Zion Hill Baptist church at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 14
with Rev. V. R. Miller and Rev. J. I. Funderburk officiating.

  Interment was in Zion Hill cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are daughters, Mrs. Josie McDonald
of Los Cruces, N. M.; Mrs. Vivian Fisher of Houston, Mrs. Bessie
Wright of Zwolle, Mrs. Lois Cunningham of Baton Rouge, Mrs.
Evonne Freed of Dayton, Ohio; sons, Cyrus Addison of West
Memphis, Ark., William Addison of Shreveport, Benny Addison of U.
S. Air Force in England; sister, Mrs. Mattie Gaines of Hall
Summitt; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Norman and Alvin Curtis, Pat and
Nathan Wright and Wilburn Wright.
