Mr. Addison was born in Negreet, but had lived in Shreveport for the past nine years. He was a retired oil field worker, and a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Negreet. Services were held Monday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m., in the Zion Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. O. H. Prothro, retired pastor of the church, officiating. Burial followed in the Siloam Cemetery in Negreet, under the direction of the Wellman Funeral Home. Survivors include one son, Cyrus Anthony Addison of Chicago; two brothers, William C. Addison, and Benny Addison, both of Shreveport; and four sisters, Mrs. Lois McNabb of Shreveport, Mrs. Josie McDonald of Las Cruces, N. M., Mrs. Bessie Wright of Zwolle, and Mrs. Evonne Freed of Spanish Fort, Ala.
