George C. Addison

  Funeral services for Mr. George C. Addison of Many, were held
Monday, March 21, at 3 p.m., at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Burial
was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Louis Skinner officiated.
Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Addison died March 19, at 7:15 p.m., in Many, after an
extended illness. He was 96 years of age.

  He is survived by a son, George C. Addison, Jr., Houston, Tex.;
three daughters, Bertha Saulsbury, Shreveport, Dorothy Fox,
Wesley, Ark., Gennie Mercer, Luling, La.; three sisters, Mae
Connely, Shreveport, Nell Brown, Ventura, Calif., Audrey Dowden,
Florien; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one
great-great grandchild.
