Myra grew up in Sherwood, Texas, and moved to Negreet in 1918. She graduated from Northwestern College, with a BS Degree in math and science. She graduated from LSU with a Masters Degree in counseling. She was a life long teacher in Sabine Parish. She has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Many since 1931. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., April 15, at First Baptist Church in Many, with interment following at Many Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hines officiated. Survivors include her sister, Mary Gray of Many; brother, Aubrey Addison and wife Abbie of Luling; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Pete Abington, Robert Ammons, Tommy Joe Andries, W. E. Hayes, Douglas Patrick, Rex Wright, Rocky Wright, and Terry Wayne Wright. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
