Mrs. Adams was born in Negreet on May 21, 1917, and at an early age, moved to Beaumont, Texas. In 1963, she moved to Many and joined the New Jerusalem B. C. She was the wife of Clifton Adams. She is survived by one god-child, one sister, Katherine Collier of Dallas, two brothers, Horace Thompson of New York, and J. C. Thompson of Dallas, and her stepmother, Mary Thompson of Negreet. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8, at 3 p.m., in Many. The Rev. Loyd David officiated. Burial was in the New Jerusalem B. C. cemetery, under the direction of the Jenkins Funeral Home.
