Interment will follow in Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Ratcliff will officiate. Mrs. Adams was a native of Many. She was a retired Calcasieu Parish school teacher. She retired in 1962, from DeQuincy Elementary, after teaching for 37 years in several Louisiana parishes. Mrs. Adams was a member of First Baptist Church of Many. She is survived by one son, Charles W. Blake of Sulphur; one sister, Alyne Cutrer of Many; one brother, T. J. Cutrer of Many; two grandchildren, Barton Blake of Sulphur, and Ricky Blake of Thibodeaux; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
