Adolphus Davis Adams

  Funeral services for Adolphus Davis Adams, age 79, who passed
away June 12, were conducted at Zwolle First Baptist Church at 10
a.m., June 14, with Rev. W. R. Ledford officiating.

  Interment was in Fisher Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Oscar Adams of Zwolle; two sons,
Harold Adams of Orange, A. D. Adams Jr. of Port Arthur;
daughters, Mrs. Irene Mitchell of Fisher, Mrs. Hazel Gilcrease,
Mrs. Edna Mae Savell, Mrs. Mattie McCord, Mrs. Bernice Prince,
all of Port Arthur; sisters, Mrs. Doris Herrington, and Mrs.
Minnie Lawson of DeRidder, Mrs. Lou Spears of Oakdale; 37
grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
