"Eddie" Adair, Jr. - June 9, 1988 Services for Mr. Robert E. "Eddie" Adair, Jr., 50, of El Dorado, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 in Young's Chapel in El Dorado. The Rev. Bill Leslie officiated. Burial: Roselawn Cemetery in junction City, Ark.; under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors of El Dorado. Mr. Adair, a resident of Union County most of his life, died Sunday night, June 5, 1988, in an El Dorado hospital. He was owner of Trey Construction Co. and was a member of the First Christian Church of Bryan, Texas. He operated Trey Construction Company in Many several years ago. Mr. Adair was born January 30, 1938 in Bryan, Texas, the son of Robert Edward and Ann B. Smith Adair, Sr. of El Dorado. He is survived by his wife, Linda Bass Adair, a son, Robert E. Adair III, a daughter, Mrs. Lisa Adair Bagley, and his father and stepmother, R. E. and Wanda Adair, Sr. of El Dorado; a brother, Thomas J. Adair of Shreveport; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Family was at the family residence on Henson Road in El Dorado. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Alvin Scott Hardin, Dr. Michael Moore and Mike Murphy.
