The Sabine Index - Chris C. Alford

  16 Nov 1972 - Chris C. Alford, 78, of Many died Nov. 9 at 5:30
a.m., in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m., in the
Warren Meadows chapel.  Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald
Ray Bush and the Rev. Perry Lasiter officiating.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. C. A. Alford of Many; one son,
Oscar Alford of Alexandria; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita DeKeyzer of
Boyce; four brothers, Floyd Alford, Bill Alford and Ray Alford, all
of Many and Truman Alford of Linden, Tex.; two sisters Mrs. Belle
Gandy of Many and Miss Bertie Alford of Alexandria, and five
grandchildren.
