Mrs. Eugene Alford 
  
  Mrs. Eugene Alford, 59, of Houston, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, in 
the M. D. Anderson Hospital after a lengthy illness. 
  
  Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 15, in Houston. 
  
  Mrs. Alford was a former resident of Sabine Parish, and has a 
number of relatives living here. 
  
  Survivors include her husband, Eugene Alford of Houston; two 
brothers, George Kirkpatric of New Orleans, and Johnnie 
Kirkpatric of West Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
