The Sabine Index - Emma Alford

  22 May 1959 - Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Alford, age 87,
who died at her home May 17, were conducted at Many Church of
Christ at 3 p.m. May 18 with Rev. John Staley officiating.
Interment was in Pilgrims Rest cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are daughters, Mrs. B. J. Tidwell, Sr., of Many; son,
Eugene Alford of Houston; four grandsons, four granddaughters,
and seven great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were James Parmer, Thomas Welch, Virgie Welch,
Wayne Tidwell, LeWayne Horton and Harry Walker.
