The Sabine Index - Mrs. C. C. Alford 
  
  26 Jun 1959 - Funeral services for Mrs. C. C. Alford, Sr., age 
86, who died at the Fraser sanitarium June 19 were conducted at 
First Baptist church at 2 p.m. June 21 with Rev. W. H. Rose 
officiating. Interment was in Fort Jesup cemetery under the 
direction of Warren Funeral Home. 
  
  Survivors are daughters, Mrs. Melvin Gandy of Many; Miss Bertie 
Alford of Pineville; sons, Floyd, Chris, Arthur, Roy and Willie 
Alford, all of Many, Truman Alford of Washington, D. C.; brother 
E. E. Smith of Many; sisters, Mrs. Josie Sirmon and Mrs. Jennie 
Bolton both of Many; six grandchildren, and six 
great-grandchildren.
