The Sabine Index - Nancy Carolyn Alford 
  
  21 Aug 1959 - Funeral rites for Nancy Carolyn Alford, age 20 
years, were held Thursday evening at 3 p.m. from the First 
Baptist church of Many. 
  
  Rev. M. L. Boland, pastor of the First Baptist church of Zwolle 
officiated, assisted by Rev. C. W. Williams of Orange, Texas. 
Burial was in the Fort Jesup cemetery under the direction of the 
Waren Funeral home. Surviving are the parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy 
Alford of Many and a host of relatives and friends. 
  
  Pallbearers were A. L. Head, L. B. Skinner, Clark Pouncey, J. W. 
Salter, Glynn Lilly, B. H. Arthur, R. J. Stoker, Wiley Cummings, 
Troy Brittan C. V. Ellison. 
  
  Nancy Carolyn, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alford passed away 
Tuesday night at p.m. after a long illness at the Sabine clinic 
at Zwolle. She was a graduate in the spring class of 
Northwestern, graduate of Many High school, member of the First 
Baptist church of Many and was a member of the Sigma Upsilom 
sorority. The entire parish joins in sympathy and condolences for 
Mr. and Mrs. Alford in the bereavement.
