William Raymond Alford

  William Raymond Alford, 68, of Leesville, died Friday, Oct. 19,
at his camp in Leesville, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at the
Hixon Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with the Rev. George
Werner officiating. Burial followed in Cryer Cemetery.

  Survivors include his wife, Ruth Alford of Leesville; one son,
William R. Alford, also of Leesville; two daughters, Mrs. Perry
D. Smith of Leesville, and Mrs. William J. Good of Salisbury,
Md.; two sisters, Beatrice Veuleman of Many, and Mrs. Roy O.
Kendall of San Antonio, Tx.; one half sister, Juanita Alford of
Leesville, and five grandchildren.
