The Sabine Index - Louis J. Alford

  17 Mar 1961 - Funeral services for Louis J. Alford, age 68, who
died Mar. 9 were conducted at First Baptist church at 2 p.m.
March 12 with Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald officiating. Interment was in
Ft. Jesup cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home
with military rites at graveside.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. L. J. Alford of Many, 1 son, Hester of
Redding, California, daughters, Mrs. Hazel Lawrason of Redding,
Mrs. Imogene Youngblood of Houston; brothers, Riley of Bellwood,
Edward of Provencal; sisters, Mrs. Effie Majestic of Ridder, Mrs.
Lilly Coburn of Shreveport, Mrs. Maude Norris of Texarkana, Mrs.
Kate Coburn of Orange, Texas, and 11 grandchildren.
