The Sabine Index - Ray Alford

  11 Aug 1961 - Last rites for Ray Alford, age 55, who died Aug.
3, were conducted at Many Methodist church at 3 p.m. Aug. 4, with
Rev. W. H. Bengston and Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald officiating.

  Interment was in Ft. Jesup cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Alford of Many, mother, Mrs.
Ross Alford of Many, one brother, Herman Alford of Many, seven
sisters; Mrs. H. Q. Pugh and Mrs. J. M. Petty of Many, Mrs. R. M.
Lowe of Dallas, Mrs. Vert Ellison of Noble, Mrs. Harold Dees, and
Mrs. William Wenner of Lake Charles and Mrs. Mauricae Broussard
of Lake Arthur.

  Pallbearers were H. Q. Pugh, Joe Petty, Curtis Ross Dees, Alford
Broussard, Bill Wenner and Walker Ross Alford.
