Arthur Alford

  30 May 1968 - Arthur Alford, 69, of Many, died May 20, after an
extended illness.

  Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Ruby Alford of Many, daughter,
Mrs. Gloria Rice of Shreveport, five brothers, Floyd, Chris, Roy
and Willie all of Many, Truman Alford of Linden, Texas; two
sisters, Mrs. Bell Gandy of Pineville, La. and four
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held May 21 at Alford Heights Baptist
Church with the Rev. Earl Marr, officiating.

  Interment was in Ft. Jesup Cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.
