  Percy George Alford - April 21, 1988

  Mr. Percy George Alford, 82, died at Sabine Medical Center of
Many on April 16, 1988.

  Services were held at Antioch Baptist Church on April 17 at 4
p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Evans officiating. Burial was in the church
cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Alford; three
sisters, Dale Tarpley, Mittie Randolph and Nell Maxey.

  Survivors include two sons, Jerry Wayne Alford of Many and
Truett Alford of Florien; three sisters, Velma Ammons, Nettie
Maxey and Bertha Hippler, all of Many.

  Pallbearers included Wilson Brumley, George Maxey, Ben Cutter,
Jack Pilcher, Freddie Hippler and D. Killian.
