  Rena Lacy Alford, 17, of Florien died Saturday, July 7, 2001, on
Hwy 171.

  Rena was born Dec. 24, 1983, in Shreveport, to Rocky Lane Alford
and Sherri Kay Jamison. She was a student at Florien High School.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, at 10 a.m., in
the Florien High School gymnasium. The Revs. Randy Silvertooth,
and Raymond Alford will officiate. Burial will follow at the
Plainview Cemetery in Florien, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her father, Rocky L. Alford of Florien;
mother, Sherri Simpson and husband Jon of Many; one sister,
Tiffany Smith and husband Dewey of Huntington, W. Virginia; her
maternal grandmother, Dorothy Jamison of Many; her paternal
grandparents, Travis and Betty Alford of Florien; and paternal
great grandparents, Cleo and Ruby Alford of Florien.

  She is also survived by her special nieces, Caroline Elizabeth,
and Emilie Grace Smith; and a very special and dear friend, Alan
Seaman.

  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Stanley
Hilliard Jamison.

  Pallbearers will be Alan Seaman, Dewey Smith, Danny Jamison,
Randy Alford, Ryan Alford, and Rankin Alford.

  Honorary pallbearers will be special friends, Cherish Keys,
Heather Knippers, Heather Williams, Samantha Ford, Prissy Alford,
John Brittain, Justin Sepulvado, Eric Alford, Phillip Jamison,
Ronnie Alford, Dane Cogswell, Johnny Jamison, and Corey Jamison.
