Amos Ponder Alford Sr.

  Funeral services for Amos Ponder Alford Sr., 67, of Garrison,
Tex., were at 2 p.m., Friday, March 17.

  Mr. Alford died at 10:50 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, in a Center,
Tex. hospital, after a long illness.

  He was born in Many, and had lived in Joaquin, Tex. most of his
life, prior to moving to Garrison. He was a member of the
Garrison Church of Christ, and a retired farmer.
