Murrell Alford

  Murrell Alford, 30, of Shreveport, died at 8:45 a.m., Sept. 13,
in a Shreveport hospital, following a long illness.

  Funeral services were held Sept. 15, at 10 a.m., in Mt. Zion
Baptist Church, Coushatta, with the Rev. E. L. Killingsworth
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the
direction of Rockett Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Tressie Alford of Robeline;
sisters, Mrs. Doris Pleasant of Robeline, Mrs. Clara Solice of
Robeline, Mrs. Juanita Remedies of Many; brothers, Mayfield
Alford Jr., Jimmy Ray Alford, both of Robeline.
