Matthew Pete Albercrumbie

  On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 5, at about 5 o'clock, a little 14
year old colored boy, Matthew Pete Albercrumbie, who lived in the
quarters of Pleasant Hill, was running, trying to jump on a
pulpwood truck, unknown to the driver, Antine Howard, when he
fell down, and the back duel wheels ran over Pete, crushing his
head. He was taken to Pleasant Hill General Hospital, where he
died shortly after, as a result of his injuries. He was the son
of Ozie Albercrumbie of Pleasant Hill
