Mrs. Ailstock leaves nine living children; 29 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She has one sister, Mrs. Ett Ferguson, Logansport; and many nieces and nephews. She was born and reared in Sabine Parish, and lived most of her life in the Union Springs community. She was a member of the Methodist Church, which is known as the Henrietta Methodist Church. Mrs. Ailstock was given every medical aid possible, to ease her pains and suffering, but God's will must be done, so she went home to be at rest, where she will have no more suffering, but all will be well beyond the river of death. We feel that God was with her in her last hour, and put his everlasting arms beneath her, and held her fast. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. She leaves behind her, Freed from grief and years, For more worthier things than tears, The love of friends and loved ones. They laid her beneath a bank of flowers, care, untroubled, Joy surrounded sweetly, sleeping, Awaiting the resurrection morning. Why do we mourn for our loved ones, Or shake at death's alarm, 'Tis but the voice Jesus sends, To call his loved ones home. So this is just another saint, Gone to her reward. She fought the fight, she kept the faith, And is now gone home to be with God.
