The Sabine Index - George Washington Allen 
  
  29 Jan 1960 - Last rites for George Washington Allen, age 88, 
who died Jan. 23 were conducted at Noble Pentecostal church at 11 
a.m. Jan. 25 with Rev. Darrell Cardwell officiating. Burial was 
in Bayou Scie cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home 
with Masonic rites at graveside. 
  
  Survivors are wife, Mrs. G. W. Allen of Noble; son, William R. 
Allen of Shreveport, four daughters, Mrs. Mahal Webb, Mrs. Orean 
Aaron, Mrs. Earline Webb, Mrs. Jack Anderson, all of Noble, 14 
grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and three great great 
grandchildren.
