Mrs. Maudie Allen

  Mrs. Maudie Allen, 79, of Plainview, died in Plainview Friday,
Oct. 4, following a short illness.

  Mrs. Allen is survived by a son, S. B. Allen of Jackson, Miss.;
a sister, Mrs. Oma Jones of Plainview; two grandchildren, three
great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m., at the
Pleaiview Baptist church, with the Rev. W. H. McCuller
officiating.

  Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
