Allen, 64, of Robeline, died in Shreveport on Friday, Feb. 13, following an extended illness. Mrs. Allen is survived by three sons, Jerry Allen of Longview, Tex., Phillip Allen of Dallas, Tex., and Ray Hewitt Allen of Vivian; three daughters, Patsy Teer of Natchitoches, Millie Withers of Robeline, and Dottie Garrett of Shreveport; four brothers, Elmer Anders, and Jimmy Anders, both of Robeline, J. D. Anders of Pineville, and Andy Anders of Leesville; five sisters, Yvonne Osburn, and Vesta Rains, both of Robeline, Mildred Allen, and Marie Rains, both of Marthaville, and Josie Shoberlein of Keithville; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Aubrey Veuleman, the Rev. Travis McCullough, and the Rev. Thurman Williams officiated. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were James W. Anders, Jan Anders, Delbert Rains, Jeffrey Anders, Ricky Rains, Greg Allen, Ted Allen, and Peter Gray.
