William T. Allen

  William Travis Allen, 68, of Converse, died Saturday night,
March 19, in a Pleasant Hill hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Monday, in the First
Baptist Church of Converse, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker
officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Richard May, and the
Rev. John Leddin. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the
direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow; a son, William G. Allen of Elkhart,
Inc.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Kling of Phoenix, Ariz.;
three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Murdock of Zwolle, Mrs. Annice
Tolbert, and Mrs. Alma Foley, both of Shreveport; and six
grandchildren.
