Allen were held Thursday, Jan. 28, 1993, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Interment followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Rev. Ray Dyess, Bro. Eddie Edwards, and Bro. Audrey Veuleman officiated. Mr. Allen died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1993, at his home in Marthaville. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Allen of Marthaville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Janet Gray of Robeline, Greg and Betty Allen of Robeline, and Ted and Lolette Allen of Robeline; two daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Joe Keyser of Natchitoches, and Kathy and Larry Alford of Many; three sisters, Helen Rigdon of Martin, Ellen Edwards of Harrisonburg, Arkansas, and Ann Priest of Shreveport; eleven grandchildren, Benji, and Erin Keyser, Aimee Allen, Carrie Allen, Joe Keyser II, Monique Saucier, Trey Alford, Jannah Gray, Joselyn Alford, Joey Mizell, Thomas Mizell, and Missy Elkins; and two great grandchildren, Brittany Keyser, and Blaire Keyser. The pallbearers were Benji Keyser, Joe Keyser II, Rickey Rains, Brad Allen, John Phillip Allen, Ray Hewett Allen, and Robert Cotton. Honorary pallbearers were Coach Don Winn, Coach Emmett Hendricks, Timmy Mathis, Norm Fletcher, Trey Alford, Joey Mizell, Jerry Allen, Coach Earl Moran, Jeffery Anders, Joe Sampite. Robbie Osburn, Don Stoker, Thomas Mizell, Earlton Allen, and members of the Fox Hunters Association.
